Why is that? I suspect it's budgetary. It's cheaper to cancel school than to pay more truck drivers to treat roads. [/quote] I feel like something else is going on because sometimes they DO pretreat. Poor coordination maybe? Also the effort seemed really inconsistent- my puny side street got a pass, but the larger secondary road nearby (that has a school on it!) did not.[/quote]
