I cannot believe it. Algebra I is about 30% geometry and has quite a bit of Algebra II (learning how to manipulate the formulas of circle and parabolas). Algebra II also has quite a bit of geometry. Unless students have learned precalculus and trigonometry, it's hard to solve more than 60% of the problems. Who is writing these exams??? I have a degree in math and taught high school math back in the days in various countries (including American schools). Average good student cannot perform well on these tests, unless the teacher taught TO THE TEST.[/quote]
