People can’t wait to bash this academy. I hear it from travel coaches all of the time. I seriously doubt that was an actual parent from the Escola since the type of parents here are the farthest thing from the type that would bash kids on social media. They are incredibly laid back, extremely knowledgeable in the sport (several D1 and a few former professionals in the mix) and genuine. If it is an actual parent, hopefully this douche will walk on. We are not part of the 06/07 group) the age groups are banded and there are no set teams) but our age group has many former A team players from big clubs in the area and a few that left pre-DA Academies. They are from a wide landscape—from Southern VA, WVA, dc and MD. They are here for the really fantastic training from 12 UEFA coaches. It is better training than anything our 3 kids have received at any Club—yes the big ones with DA programs included—or the training I received at my youth travel Club on a National champion team/multiple state/regional title team. The goal is individual development. We don’t give a rat’s ass about tournament or scrimmage results. But—keep on trashing kids if it does something to make you feel like a man. Ridiculous. Is it any wonder why a parent would pull their kid from the travel landscape after spending a bit of time on this forum?
