I think there are certain people (both M and F) who believe they have to be ruthless/cutthroat to succeed in business and to climb the corporate ladder, like it's almost a zero sum game, but that's not actually the best way to succeed. I do think women are aware that certain behaviors of theirs may be read more harshly (showing emotion = hysterical, being too agreeable/friendly = weak, doormat) and thus probably feel more pressure about how they should act in the workplace. The good bosses of both genders don't concern themselves with this so much.[/quote]
