These silly teenagers were not wearing their hats in a vacuum.

Trump is not neutral, he is the most divisive president since Nixon, he has stoked the racial tension in this country ever since his shameful promotion of the birther conspiracy against the nation's first black president. And wearing those hats at a HBC a week after Trump's reprehensible comments about the "fine people" among the KKK and Nazis is intentionally provoking and thumbing their noses at black students

I don't agree with swiping the hat, but free speech doesn't just cover their right to wear them, it means that people can tell these young women their opinion of the disgusting man in the White House and what they think of them for supporting such a man who is spectacularly unfit to be president.
