Some say they tell "everyone they know" what their preference is and then screw anybody else who tries to contact them the wrong way. In my circle of friends and family it has become normal to text someone just to ask if it's a good time to call and talk. Otherwise it's perceived as kind of rude to just call and expect someone to be available to talk.[/quote]
