NP here.  I'll never understand women like you.  Men hurt you and make you feel vulnerable, so your solution is to search for yet another man, who seems stronger, to protect you?

The only antidote to feeling vulnerable is to toughen up yourself, build your own strength and confidence and don't look to a man to protect you, especially when those men who seem chivalrous in my experience are the most controlling and potentially abusive. [/quote]

You are absolutely right.  Which is why I have not dated at all.  I am working on me to become strong.  My original post was triggered by my divorce being final and the judge and my XDH making me feel like shit and I defaulted back to the old me. [/quote]
