It is hilarious to see Democrats grasping at straws ......... and at the end of it all Trump will continue to be president and given how messed up they are it won't surprise me if Trump wins reelection in 2020.
More desperation by those on the left. First, a failed recount. Then, blame it on Russia tampering with our election. When that didn’t pan out, the impeachment talk began. And, actually, that continues although it has died down somewhat. Then, accusing Trump of collusion with Russia. As that scenario becomes increasingly difficult to defend, calls for obstruction. Now, we have a Congressman calling on Congress to vote him as “unfit.” Can’t wait what desperate plan next week will bring.
Do you really believe that Donald Trump is fit for the office of President of the United States??
Makes no difference. He won the election. Come 2020 the voters can reject him if they think he is unfit.
What if he did have a medical exam and they diagnosed dementia? You're ok with him in office until 2020? No matter what?
There is no provision for a medical examination in the Constitution and he can just refuse one. If he were really diagnosed with dementia, yes, that would make a difference but from a practical standpoint it will not happen because he will not submit to an evaluation - and I don't see how it can be compelled. Get used to him being president whether you like it or not. He will not be impeached and he will not be removed from office through the 25th Amendment. The Democrats are so badly screwed up and don't know how to deal with Trump so they resort to nonsensical crap like Raskin's proposal.
We all knew Reagan had dementia in his second term and the party in power did not care. His son also confirmed he saw signs of Alzheimer's while his father was president. He said that he saw the first hints of the disease during his father's re-election campaign in 1984.
