However, unless the man is mentally challenged, he needs to understand that birth control fails, people forget to take pills, and some people even lie. Therefore, as I told the young men in my family, do not leave sperm anywhere it can be used to make a baby. It's not about "justifying" abuse. It's about retaining ownership and control over your own DNA and not giving possession of it to a third party. Once you relinquish possession of your sperm, you leave yourself at the mercy of a third party. [/quote]
