But I do - and there is a definite correlation between early communication and language skills and intelligence - which in no way means that a slow talker can't also turn out to be extremely intelligent or a genius. It is not mutually exclusive. However, a child with this toddler's understanding and communication will not be of average intelligence - she is quite advanced. [/quote]
