I think they'll overgrow the difficulties as they age![/quote] I think it really depends on how severely someone is affected. There are kids who are on the spectrum who grow up to be successful, happy adults. I have a kids with SPCD who struggles with just about everything social and academic. You don't outgrow either SPCD or autism, an individual's ability to compensate and manage either varies widely. One isn't easier than the other.[/quote]
