In that scenario, I thought Monique responded appropriately.  But in other scenarios ("I brought a $250 bottle of wine!"), it seems like she stacks the brags on top of one another, in a rapid succession so it becomes a little cringeworthy after a while.  Her personality is nice enough and I do like her, but some of her statements do beget eye rolls ("my husband's underpants are like a mattress!"  "my assistant brings me champagne to barre!", the sex life thing she said to her MIL).[/quote]

I agree.  I thought Gizelle was grilling her pretty rudely, and in that instance I thought Monique was justified in responding that she has four homes (as opposed to being "homeless"  :roll:).  But in the other scenes, she does tend to brag insufferably.  She's more than a little pleased with herself and it's annoying.   [/quote]
