Nah. I think you overestimate the race-focus and underestimate the greed of most people. No doubt most people (of all races) choose to self-segregate if given the option. But you also see tons of people very willling to let their hunt for a good bargain to overtake their inclination toward self-segregation. Heck, that's exactly what white gentrification of black neighborhoods is all about!: greed trumps fear for lost people. [b]If PG County offered schools and safety [/b]superior to other similarly priced neighborhoods, you'd see a flood of people moving there, regardless of anyone's race.
