Every criminal has a softer side, and a family, often a good loving family. A crime has been committed and we are each responsible for our decisions and actions. Immigrants, legal or otherwise, are subject to our laws like everyone else so long as they are in the United States. We cannot be afraid of enforcing the laws on our books just because it may make someone feel sad.

I hope the family in the video find a way forward that is in accordance with the laws of the United States. I'm a naturalized citizen, as is my wife. I understand the yearning for a better life first hand, but there is a process, and a right way to go about it.[/quote]
