She does need to publicly talk with folks.  However, it should come as no surprise that she doesn't want to engage with people that will never vote for her and will shout her down and not let her answer questions.

Ha! The fact that you're calling Comstock's constituents "these lunatics" shows how out of touch you are.  I know quite a few people in her district--they're polite, well-educated professionals with children and they are exercising their rights under the First Amendment to be heard on issues that matter to them--like, health care, education and immigration.  Comstock barely won against a not-so-inspiring opponent in 2018.  She's going to lose in 2020 if she tries to keep herself away from all the but the most dedicated  Republicans.[/quote]
