21:15 - do you not understand how this is a problem? We have no idea if she's actually answering constituent questions during these town halls. They are probably ALL plants, and she's claiming this to be "meeting her constituents" Yeah, no. She needs to show up in public and talk to people. That is her job. She is hiding from us and thinks she can get away with this shit.
She does need to publicly talk with folks. However, it should come as no surprise that she doesn't want to engage with people that will never vote for her and will shout her down and not let her answer questions. She's acting like a politician. Why are some people surprised?
we pay her damn salary and she is elected to represent all of us, not just the ones who agree wth her. She and the rest of the spineless mofos need to be reminded of that.
Comstock is one of the hardest working Reps out there. She represents all us is IN HER DISTRICT.
If that were true, she'd have a real town hall. Not only the kind she can control.
Would you put your life on the line to go out and speak among these lunatics? She's a wife, mother and grandmother, too. I have seen her out and about asnswering all sorts of challenging questions with poise and dignity. She very well may lose and, if so, that's the way politics works. Fund her opponent. Pay for negative ads. But, the average person living in her district understands that those who choose to come into a town hall and disrupt just for the sake of it are part of the problem, not the solution.
Then you've proven that what the PP said isn't true. She doesn't try to represent everyone. She tries to represent the slice of the population that might actually vote for her. That's smart politics and give her credit for that. The hyperbole of her putting her life on the line is interesting. Don't buy that for a second. A Member can have great security for such an event. Also, she is tough and strong person. Those of us who know her don't buy the shrinking violet narrative you have presented. Agree or disagree with her, she is a fighter. If you don't believe me, please look up her bio and who she's worked for and with.
