So excluding UVA and W&M -- what other schools should B/B+ Virginia students consider applying to in Virginia? Also, what OOS options should be considered that are roughly equivalent to the in-state costs of schools like Radford, ODU, etc.?
B/B+ students are routinely accepted (note I did not say "assured acceptance") at every VA public except UVA and W&M. After UVA and W&M, the better VA publics (in no particular order) are JMU, UMW, GMU, VCU, CNU, and--if the student is non-STEM--Tech. The better the test scores, the better the chances of admission at any of these schools. A B/B+ student is unlikely to find many OOS options that are comparable to the in-state costs of VA publics.
