DD thought she wanted Va Tech engineering. We went to the open house for engineers - they posted on an overhead screen the stats. The average GPA was 4.0. They are ED (binding) so really thing that thru. DD thought she wanted Tech but ended up getting into UVA and many other better Tech schools like Purdue and Ga Tech so oddly wound up never applying to Va Tech because of ED. Had Tech been EA, she would have applied there in Nov. as well.[/quote]
