It may have been anti-Chinese racism at play. Or maybe it was simply recognition of the fact that mainland Chinese are the most aggressive exploiters of this absurd loophole. Mexicans and Central Americans come here looking for work and do have US cit children when they are here but the primary motivation is to work and earn money. Chinese are seeking the passport for personal gain and utility. [/quote]

It seems anti-Chinese racism is acceptable to both liberals and conservatives. It makes you wonder why. So birthright citizenship is OK for illegals crossing the southern border because they are Hispanics but not OK for Chinese or the other "less aggressive exploiters" on B-1 visa?

Do you have statistics to back up your claim and give us the racial breakdown of US births? Are they contributing to the economy or drawing welfare?[/quote]
