The real idiots here are Schumer and Jeffries who played right into the GOP’s hands by making healthcare subsidies the hill they chose to die on. Now the WH can run roughshod and lay off thousands of more federal workers as Russ Vought works unopposed to bring his fever dream to fruition. The Dems will look like clueless impotent imbeciles from the sidelines.
OOH, mommy look what they made me do! Really PP, can't you come up with something better than this toddler BS.
This type of vitriol only tells me Ds know they’ve been played and outmaneuvered.
Trump is using it as an opportunity to do mass layoffs and permanently close whole parts of the federal bureaucracy.
Right. But at what point will Trump actually try to govern the country. Also, when's he going to release those Epstein files?
Oh, he's governing. The fact that you don't like it tells everyone he is.
No, he's actually not. At least not democratically. He hasn't passed a budget. He can't adequately run the executive branch. All he's doing is destroying what he doesn't understand, and that's everything.
The House passed a CR. Democrats didn't go along in the Senate. Oh well.
That CR includes provisions allowing Vought to unilaterally move money that was appropriated by Congress. This isn’t a CR in the normal sense, which continues funding to agencies and programs as set by Congress. We don’t have kings in the US and we shouldn’t allowed a Republican Congress to abdicate the power of the purse. Checks and balances matter.
Exactly.
