The “you and me we got big reputations” line from End Game never made sense with regard to Joe, who has zero reputation and was as wild as milk, but if you reframe all the Reputation songs knowing Matty has been in her head for 10 years, it makes way, way more sense. I say this as a diehard Reputation fan too. It’s a Matty album. Lover is Joe for sure though. Complete tone and content shift. Just anxious attachment. [/quote]
