That is a bit of your measure right there, and the IAC wins that one.

Sure, the WCAC top teams have gotten the better of the IAC teams in the last year or two?...   But remember, the IAC do not play the middle or bottom half of the WCAC.  The WCAC is happy,  dare I say, loves to play the bottom half of the IAC.  Why is that?  The games between WCAC teams and any IAC team matter.  The games between the IAC and the bottom of the WCAC don't even occur because they would not matter.

The WCAC has recently become a better league.  And maybe it might be better this year, and maybe has established itself as year in year out better than the IAC. GREAT!  Wait a minute.  Can you predict the future?  Can you say which conference is better year over year without looking backward over history?  Hmm.  That might be a tough one.

Last but not least.  The WCAC typically only want to schedule games against the IAC teams early.   The WCAC teams have a distinct advantage at that time of the year, because their lacrosse teams are made up of kids who typically only play one sport.   Gonzaga is great early because their kids have played together.  They fade because they do not necessarily improve a lot over the season because they have already played so much together.  An IAC team with multiple athletes who play multiple sports will be much improved at the end of the season, a WCAC team that played together in the fall, winter, and spring...not a much.  So WCAC whiners, schedule IAC games a couple of weeks after spring break.

Finally, There is little or no comparison between the admissions practices of SJCHS and other schools.  They are out of bounds even by WCAC standards.  I mean Students do not have to go through the formality of competing an application to the school, families get notified of their acceptances way before the IAC admissions deadlines, and I have heard even before the WCAC deadlines, and they seem to like to throw the money around. 
If Dane can get OLoGC going, and they become one of four or five very good teams in the WCAC who routinely beat up on the lowly IAC teams, then good for the WCAC.

Pretty sure mighty St. Johns is 2-2 against Landon the last four times they have played.  Blah Blah Blah, they didn't play us when we had our best team in history.  Not Sure St. John's wants to count the games when Landon had their best teams in History.

Here is to a great season!  Hopefuly Prep, Landon, Bullis, StSStA's, EHS, and St. Albans can all play all the best teams in the WCAC.  [/quote]
