Seeing RWNJ accounts demanding to know if Elon has fired the 'CIA/FBI employees' at Twitter.  There were no "CIA/FBI employees" at Twitter.  They actually BELIEVED Taibbi's hyperbolic headline of "Twitter is an FBI subsidiary"

Had they actually read Taibbi's tweets beyond the salacious soundbite they'd know that this wasn't actually the case.

That hyperbolic headline was some straight-up irresponsible and dishonest "reporting" by Taibbi right there.  That's the same kind of dishonest inciting bullshit like "stop the steal" that got people so riled that they attacked the US Capitol on January 6th.[/quote]

There are a slew of former FBI/CIA employees at Twitter.  There are the people we are talking about......
And, Facebook is even worse.

What went on was that the FBI warned Twitter that Russians and others were looking to peddle disinformation to eff with the election, and Twitter thought the New York Post story violated their TOS because it was based on hacked material.[/quote]
