I agree.  I know that video evidence has been so important in bringing perpetrators of hate crimes to justice, but I can’t imagine how horrendous it is for these families to have their loved ones last moments out there in the world like that.  To be than man’s mother—unbearable.[/quote]

THIS THIS! Everyone treated him as subhuman. You can hear him gasping for breath. Even if you aren’t an EMT - a normal person would go and try to put pressure on the wounds or at the least try to hold his hand and reassure and comfort him. Just speaks to the depravity of everyone down there. As a mother to have your child is bad enough but to know that the police left him there alone in the street dying would tear at my soul. Federal hate crime trial is underway. One of the jurors asked for if there were funds for counseling after he/she was exposed to the litany of racial slurs in the McMichael and Bryan communications.
