The opposition has launched a petition and a slick website packed with misleading info. They appear totally unconcerned with the thousands of students that would need to be reassigned, at least hundreds of them to far-flung schools with overstretched boundaries, in order to make their boundary-only scenarios come close to working. They also continue to downplay or outright ignore the benefits of giving the Rosslyn - Court House neighborhoods a truly local school, expanding ATS’ capacity, and moving the McKinley staff and most of its current students to a brand-new school.

The loudest voices shouldn’t drown out others. Please take a few minutes to register your support with an email to APS Engage. Even better, share your support in person at the next school board meeting on January 30. [/quote]
