Sorry, but Stiers was well-wired enough to have gotten this allegation attention much, much sooner.  Coons' letter did not go until the end of the week that the FBI investigation was restarted.  And, please remember, Coons was the one that got Flake to insist on the restart.

This sounds like part of the Dems' plan.  They didn't bring forth Ford until after the hearings were over.  Then, they reopened the hearings.  Then Ford slow walked coming to testify---even though she had been on the East Coast around the time this all came together.  Then, at the end of her hearings, they reopened the investigation because of Avenetti's accusations, including Ramirez.  Then, at the end of that week, Coons writes the letter--but, the accusations were likely too vague.  Then, the Dems start calling for Kavanaugh's impeachment over something similar to Fords' accusations--except this time it is the "witness" who has no corroboration.

The question is: who is writing the script?  Katz?
