Their job is to protect the constitutional rights of defendants and without them, justice could not be done. Defendants have a right to representation and the trial could have not have proceeded or concluded without Carroll. I find some of the defense choices unusual, but ultimately the evidence against Brendan was significant so he didn’t have a lot to work with. [/quote]
