Are restraining orders public information like the other court documents? I'm an Eaton parent involved with volunteering and I had no idea. TM wasn't around as much but I assumed he had to go into the office more like the rest of us
I’m also a fairly involved Eaton parent and this thread is the only place I’ve heard of the restraining order.
We need to all be contacting the police and telling them the school let this guy take photos of hundreds of children over the years We need to ask, where are those photos and were they used for anything besides earning the trust of parents We need to complain to someone higher at DCPS than Principal Eatman who is now ignoring emails about this We need to contact Child Protective Services and let them know a child molestor has been allowed to be around our children for the entire last year at least and have them investigate Eaton over how this happened and whether or not everyone's silence is helping to cover up more potential crimes Last years HSA and LSAT people need to be investigated to find out what people knew and why they allowed Mahoney to keep volunteering if they knew he had a restraining order from ANYONE be it child, adult, student, etc Eatman, Dance, and the strangely homogenous group of school administrators need to be investigated to find out what they know and to justify their paychecks since they just seem to let the parent volunteers run the show for the most part Parents need to drop their kids off and LEAVE SCHOOL PROPERTY, no photographing other peoples children unless it's a performance or school sanctioned event, no engaging with other peoples children, and no lurking around pretending to be an administrative official like Mahoney and others Even though this part of town isn't really the city, we maybe need to learn some basic street smarts, starting with this- Lesson 1- Someone who's overly personable or friendly, always trying to help or volunteer for free, especially when they're not asked to, usually only has their own agenda in mind one way or another Lesson 2- A guy that dresses like Peter Pan and talks in an exaggerated high voice all the time and wants to photograph children and be around children all the time, is probably a perv I can't believe how many people are actually surprised someone who looks and acts like they would do something like this, actually did something like this. The guy was definitely a creep. Not to mention, you kind of have to be a sociopath to work for the World Bank anyway, not someone I'd ever trust my kids with personally, but I digress... Here are the relevant phone numbers to anyone that is dissatisfied with the school and/or other parents handling of this or to anyone else who might know of times/places where Mahoney may have been able to groom families and abuse children- Detective J. Alvarenga MPD Youth Services Division - (202) 603-6876 Reference # 25106354 DC Child protective services (CFSA)- (202) 442-6100 DCPS Office of Integrity- (202) 939-4913 Someone could also please share this information to the Eaton WhatsApp groups, I had to remove myself as it was really just the same 4 or 5 insufferable individuals trying to out funny each other all the time and never really anything important that wasn't shared elsewhere. One of those individuals being Mahoney by the way, who posted constantly and commented on everything, especially on photo day
