If DC is playing on age and beating players within the age cutoff, club should give DC an opportunity to play up an age group, and if DC is good enough to beat those players, DC should play up. But if DC is kept with age group and not allowed to play up after change from BY to SY, it means DC isn’t good enough to beat players on the older age group team. BTW,  the early advantages don’t always disappear. Coaches are not looking for “just as good” players. Coaches recruit standout players.  It actually is pretty simple. [/quote]
