YES. Go to the camps. Except for D3 - mainly NESCACs (and they already have their lists) - schools are done w 27s.

Do not listen to advice to not to go to many camps over winter. Schools will have draft lists before summer tournaments. Also you don’t want to risk being injured or sick and not making it in the summer to a schools camp.

And get into showcases, the development teams etc.   Do not believe that they aren’t important.  Getting in front of coaches any time you can is important.

The girls on my DDs team that didn’t listen to “it’s a journey that starts Sept 1st”  did best.  It’s done on Sept 1st and being seen by a school the first time in August is going to end badly. And getting seen at tournaments while important is a roll of the dice for when the coaches show up.

If you are told otherwise from the above - or are told as a parent to take a back seat in the process - consider getting a consultant. That’s what the girls who were recruited well on my DDs team did very quietly on their own.
