Sad that the lady renting out a single property takes a hit which could better be absorbed by a larger company.  One company that got rapid rehousing vouchers had to evict 30 out of 100.

I'm skeptical given DC's landlord rules which overwhelmingly favor tenants, even the most horrible of tenants.  There need to be provisions made, with clear expectations and tight rules of behavior such that if the tenant is trashing the building, or harrassing and disturbing neighbors or adjoining businesses, or engaging in any other unacceptable behavior, that they be evicted and returned back.[/quote]
