Because they perform better in school and any quantitative metric, with that differential increasing overtime. The best shot for black and Hispanic enrollment in G&T is in kindergarten. There are definitely schools with pregnancies and danger. But not to the extent that this person is stating. And their tone in describing it is not OK. And as I said above, if they don't like it, switch your kid to another school. Especially at the middle school level, it really isn't that hard.[/quote]

I noticed that I'm now getting constantly spammed with anti Mamdani ads, claiming he will ruin public schools, 'strangle' charter schools, increase crime on subways, etc. If you click on these ads, they are run by "fix the city, inc.', a pro Cuomo group... guess who is on their board? Billionaire hedge fund manager (and insider trading criminal) Steven Cohen. Do you think he or his children ride the subway? Or attend charter or public schools?
