The high school teams did do showcases last year at least on the boys side.

Last year, our dc's high school black (first) team played in these tournaments:
1. OBGC (August)
2. Bethesda Premier Cup (Nov)
3. Visit Raleigh Showcase (Dec) -TBH was really not a fan of this travel-mid December with Friday games in nc right around a ton of tests/projects being due
4. USYS Showcase (Jan)
5. VDA Showcase (Feb)
6. Jefferson Cup (March)
Most of the boys also play spring HS soccer for HHS and other schools nearby,

(and the Virginia State cup in Fall not sure if that counts as a tournament.)

All we have heard this year is the ViVa tournament which seems real sketch at this point. We would have much preferred to play in Copa Rayados or Rev Cup with a bid to VDA showcase.[/quote]
