"I live in an area with a large Hispanic community. In the last year, they have started to drop out of the area in droves. I think it is a combination of immigration enforcement and housing foreclosures. However, this has a really inconvenient downside. I noticed a lot of American teens are filling jobs at places such as my local grocery store. The teens are soooo slow at EVERYTHING. They cannot identify any vegetables and it takes them forever to check me out. One today did not know what a red cabbage was, ginger root, nor did he know green onions. WTF??!! The Hispanic people who used to do that job would hussle-they did not mess around and they knew their stuff. The Americans seem so lazy and slow.
