Your first two sentences do not go together, so the "so" does not make sense.

America is not a nation of immigrants. Immigrants have decided to come to an established nation. This is a nuance but important. Not all Americans are descendant from immigrants. Does our history not matter?[/quote

I'm not sure what you consider history. Before immigration from Europe, the Americas were many nations, not one established nation, and everyone else is either a descendant of people who came here in the last 532 years or came more recently than that.

I am not talking about the land. I am talking about the nation. Before the establishment of the United States of America, the USA did not exist. If you limit the discussion to land, Arizona is not really part of the U.S. because it wasn't part of the country in the 1780s.[/quote]
