Don't worry you're correct, GA can and likely will morf into something like MLS Next over time. Everyone involved with GA can see it coming.

I’m glad that everyone involved with GA can see if coming. Can you shed some light on how it will be funded? What will happen to the few academies that are already ecnl clubs? How much funding those academies receive from the nwsl club? How academies work with a draft and the current CBA? [/quote]

None at the moment other than the US soccer connection but when NWSL sees that USL has inside track to elite youth talent looking to play processional and seeing college as secondary or back-up option then they will start to care what GA is doing or they will double down on college, not bad for anyone.
