Most of Europe wants out of this war?  All of Europe never wanted this war.

Pentagon sees this won't end soon?  Pentagon has no control over when this started or when this ends.  They do what professionals do- which is calm and cool monitor, plan, and be ready to act at a moment's notice.  And don't say something silly like the Pentagon has already acted.  Does Russia still have an Air Force?  A Navy?  'nuf said.

Hmm.  I don't think either McCarthy or Biden got played.  Remember that both support the Ukrainians on this.  The question you need to ask yourself is whether it would have been better to support Poland in 1939?  I believe the answer is a unanimous 'yes.'

Putting aside that WWII is Stalin's fault by signing the German-Soviet Pact in August 1939; if Hitler's forced been stopped in Warsaw by Russia, the millions of deaths afterwards could have been avoided and nuclear weapons, jet aircraft, space rockets, computers and most advanced weapons developed during the Cold War wouldn't have been developed at all or for at least another 20 or 30 years.

Some would argue that's a good thing, while others not.  The question is whether the Wisdom of Humanity outpaces the Foolishness of Action?  If so, the human race survives.  If not..[/quote]
