The pandemic is a scam. I believe it's overblown and that schools should be 100% open for all kids up to age 12. I believe in masks and vaccines but I think it's a scam that only rich kids who can afford private got to go back.
How do you think it is a scam? I am genuinely curious because clearly lots of people think the same thing. Do you think it was made up or that the death rates aren't high enough to warrant the alarm?
I don’t think any or most of the information about COVID is being reported accurately. It is a terrible disease among nursing home residents (who don’t have good health in the first place) but the death numbers among other groups are are exaggerated and so many have mild cases. Those who are benefiting from the lock down will keep it going for as long as they can. Many others have suffered more than they would have without it.
Agree. Why though? For what purpose? We are missing something.
I'm going to say that a weak economy, a failed healthcare system, and the various markets surrounding healthcare and organizations being paid may have something to do with it. Mental health awareness, funding support, Affordable Care Act -- I am not suggesting the PP is right but it is a very coincidental storm of certain factors catapulting change broadly, and quickly. Think of how many stakeholders are impacted by our healthcare system, from doctors to patients to facilities to transportation to manufacturers to insurance to education. Covid-19 is requiring a lot of paused conversations to pick back up again. Also, it is a nice little plus tha this shut down could be the only way to cool our planet down from burning itself alive in the next 10 years. Of course no one would agree to cut 80% of energy output and disrupt another economy to do so. Just wild conspiracy ramblings I am not so strong about them to say I believe it, but I do not put it past Big C.
I definitely have been thinking about the decreased carbon emissions as a result of people working from home because of covid.
