Fortunately it's not a wedding, unfortunately it was a very much needed (haven't gone anywhere besides work and home in 13 mos) 3 day getaway. TBH I feel like a paranoid idiot for canceling as friends etc. are like -- it's only Florida, NBD, they have healthcare there; not that many cases; etc. Reality is I don't discuss my heart valve issue so it's not like casual friends/coworkers etc. can see that I have it. Not worth chancing it -- simply moving thru airports, touching TSA bins etc. I knew it was hitting harder for people with any underlying heart disease, did not realize there was any research that even preliminary suggested this CAUSING heart damage. Definitely cannot risk that for a vacation that I could go on in 6 mos or 1 yr or whatever.[/quote]
