so there were a lot of people there or there weren't? i feel like i get one answer looking at trump-friendly media and a totally different answer elsewhere.
There were a lot. You can find pics in non-Trump friendly media as well. Bloomberg: Here is a short video clip from Twitter: https://twitter.com/CalebJHull/status/1146929339667230720 What you see here are far-left liberals who are frankly embarrassed because their predictions of doom and of Trump politicizing this event didn't come to fruition. So, instead of admitting they were wrong, and congratulating him for a patriotic event that went off pretty well considering all the logistics involved, they are looking for petty things to pick at. It's what they do. It has been their MO since before he was elected. And, it is this type of behavior that will likely help lead to his reelection.
wait - what? how is this leading to his reelection? is there anything you think *isn't* leading to his reelection? thanks for posting the pic
As liberals continue to focus on petty issues and throw out criticism where there should be none, voters, particularly Independents, note the behavior and the hate. This continued resistance on the part of the left is not welcomed and tolerated by many. As a result, many folks will either stay home on Election Day, vote 3rd party, or vote for Trump, even though they may not like everything he does. They just don't want to see a party that is acting bat$hit crazy in power.
Independents are not flocking to Trump and in fact have been leaving his camp consistently these past couple of years. He is it making any moves to try to bring them back. He seems to think his base by itself is large enough to re-elect him.
Wrong. Plenty of independents are running - not walking - away from the Democratic Party. Gee, I wonder why that could be?
Citation for the independents running to the GOP please.
