Then the only interesting parts, where the two young women and their birth mother separately discussed the circumstances that brought them where they are, were interesting but totally uncomfortable.  It was weird to have C&T listen to the one daughter's story of being beaten and neglected by her birth mom before she was removed (the other daughter who wanted to meet the birth mom had been adopted at birth and did not know these details), then they go meet the birth mom and greet her with hugs and big smiles, talking about how they've heard so much about her!  Um, yeah, and it was all how horrible she is, now come here and give me a squeeze.

It was just bizarre and not entertaining at all.  They were trying to be Catfish, but not succeeding.  And what a weird situation to use as your first example.  [/quote]
