If he loved her he would have married her in the 7 months between the murders and her arrest. She had a pressing visa issue with few solutions, marriage being one of them. It would have had some legal advantages for him. Yet, he did not. The letters were narc love bombing drivel to keep her from taking a plea. Would he f$ck her given the chance? Sure but that is probably true re: almost anyone. He liked the thrill of plotting this, in part it was a thrill kill to show how smart he is. Planning to move to Brazil with her was a solution to some of his issues, yet still, no marriage.
I couldn't agree more! I have been saying since I heard the details this is a thrill kill. Brandon found a dupe in JPM, someone who would take the fall and protect himself if it ever went to trial. Are two psychopaths really capable of love? I don't believe for one second either of them had the emotional depth and ability to love anyone but themselves. Certainly Brandon had no problem murdering the mother of his daughter, whom he left in an unlocked room who could hear the screams of her mother being killed. Does this really sound like a love triangle gone wrong, or a man and woman who were motivated by an emotion they likely have never felt in their life times? I say thrill kill for Brandon, and the kill was for convenience and money motivated more so for JPM. She wanted a life in the US with a husband, and a home... security. She didn't care who got in her way, two people. She went along with every second of it. Does that sound like a woman that did something for love? lol no way! Thrill killers who are psychopaths, with narcissistic tendencies to say the least. Brendan still thinks likely that he did a good job on the stand. He does think he's the smartest sexiest man alive. lol
