I don't know Remy or what challenges she might face, but freaking out about "why haven't you started" over and over and then shaming her for not knowing how to start is not the way. Really there are two options here. One, share the packing list and the deadline, offer to help if needed, but otherwise let her figure it out and learn from her mistakes. Two, help her learn so she's set up for future success: work together on a list, doing laundry, setting a time to pack. I mean, we're not born knowing these things! It takes trial and error over many trips.[/quote]
