Nothing makes you feel more unwelcome in what is supposed to be your home, your safe place than the silliest items being “not yours”, much less being referred to as a roommate than a daughter and member of the home.  Just utterly awful.

So, Jen, if you are reading - please pause and really reflect on the words you use and the way in which you say them. Because they really do mean things and they can be incredibly harmful and traumatic. [/quote]
