The alligators traveled from other lakes bodies of water and moved to the man made lake. Alligators can move between bodies of water, and Orlando has over 100 lakes. They are wildlife, and you can't fully control wildlife, even as much as Disney wants to. There are some interesting books on the history of Disney and how much they try to control the environment within the parks, but this is one area where they can't fully control it. [/quote]
