I don't see this as hypocrisy. When I was a SAHM, I had already had a good career. I decided to devote some time to my kids, both for my sanity sake and the well being of my family. Regardless of the parent's work status, a good parent helps their kids do well in school. Do you have this same opinion of SAHD?
