Virginia is attempting to compensate for all of the other Republican states that gerrymandered after Texas: Missouri, Ohio, and North Carolina. And Florida is on deck. None of those states offered it up to the voters directly, either.[/quote]

Maybe the Dems doing it will finally get the GOP to start supporting that federal ban. We all know the GOP can’t recognize anything unfair or unjust unless it’s happening to them personally. Do you think democracy is working right now?  We are at war and don’t even know why.  We are cutting science funding, getting rid of vaccines, struggling to pay for food, not to mention the Epstein Files.  Congress isn’t doing anything to help us, the Supreme Court is using shadow dockets to stack the policy deck. How is this democracy at work?[/quote]
