It's not happening. Biden is not stepping down from either the presidency or the nomination. This week there's the NATO summit. Not stepping down. Next week it's the RNC convention. Not stepping down. Most Democratic lawmakers do not want to be on the wrong side of an inter-party struggle. Besides the very, very few that have called upon Biden to step down, the others have mostly supported Biden. With some, like AOC and Schumer, enthusiastically supporting Biden. And others, like Pelosi, saying it's simply up to Biden and she'll support whatever he decides. By the DNC convention near the end of August, it's just too late to change ships. A new nominee - whoever that may be - is going to lack legitimacy. There's no time to do a genuine rollout for a candidate most Americans are unlikely to be really familiar with. Then there's fundraising, staffing, media, etc and etc and etc. A presidential campaign in the fall of an election year is a billion dollar machine. It's too late. The time to choose a younger, more viable candidate was a year ago. But Democrats chose a coronation for an old man instead of a primary with competitive candidates. When Republicans - who had a real primary with real candidates - are the party of genuine democracy you know something has gone horribly wrong. Democrats have completely lost the plot. They refuse to have real elections, and instead the elite gives us a Clinton or a Biden. And invariably, a Trump is the inevitable result. As it will be again because of the colossal arrogance of Democrats.
