They are going from 2 ECNL-NL teams (Brave and VA Union) to one (Fairfax VA Union).  A bunch of former ECNL-NL kids will have to try and get recruited from GA or ECNL-RL, which is a lot tougher than getting recruited from ECNL-NL.[/quote]

RL showcases don't generally have a lot of attendance and sometimes ECNL makes a dumb decision putting them near ECNL NL ones.[/quote]

Would think placing them near would be a great thing, if the level of talent rises.  With colleges continuing to cut athletic travel budgets, if ECNL-RL could be a considered a viable source of talent, then scouts could spend less on travel by attending an ECNL-RL event in the same city as National ECNL, but either before or after.
