Tough break for those older BRAVE and UNION kids who are losing their ECNL platform going into their recruiting years.
Specially the 2007/2006
Well, many of them will just attempt to latch on with another local ECNL club, thereby throwing even more programs into chaos. The BRAVE teams don't have many skilled players, but I've heard of at least one player who's planning to return to old club after the family spent years bad mouthing the former program. If they take them, this would mean players who stayed with the program get moved out. And honestly, most high-level '06 and '07 players have already signed with schools. The ones left are either settling for a school that will have them, or still trying to justify the parents' paying tens of thousands of dollars over the years with the deluded focus on "helping get into college." The system is a cesspool.
